ToolbarCC is known as an invasive toolbar. Unlike friendly toolbars, like Google’s, ToolbarCC does not ask for permission to install or run and will activate every time you open Internet Explorer.
It works by redirecting your browser when you make a search at Google.com to one of their pages. Sometimes a tool bar will appear at the bottom of the screen with a related search enquiry. Try a free scan from Webroot Spy Sweeper.
Firewalls cannot prevent this program from running as they see it as apart of your browser and not as a virus.
